Beloved life partner of the late Gerald Halas; dear mother of Lisa Schwan and David Wohlfeil; grandmother of Robert and Gregory Schwan; sister of James (late Rose) Nicolas and the late Suzanne Wilson; aunt of Sarah Nicolas; faithful furry friend Abby. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday 4-6 PM at the Latimore Schiavone Funeral Home, Inc. 8434 N Main St Angola, NY 14006  a service will immediately follow at 6 PM.  Flowers gratefully declined if so desired memorial contributions can be made to the Evans Rod and Gun Club in Karen’s memory.
