Angela Marie Jones (nee Barrile) of Lutz, Florida died peacefully, embraced by the love of her family on April 27, 2025.  Prior to her time in Florida, she lived a blessed life in Angola, NY.  Angela was born on June 30, 1949, to Salvatore and Michelina Barrile.  She was predeceased by her parents and sister Carmela DelVecchio. Angela is survived by her loving son, Daniel and caring daughter-in-law Rani as well as her two precious grandchildren, Blake and Laila Jones, whom she adored.  In addition to her son and grandchildren, Angela is survived by her sister, Josephine Friend and her many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her former spouse, Lloyd R. Jones, Jr.

Angela was a ball of energy and lit up a room with her infectious smile and personality.  She cherished the time spent with her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.  Her favorite pastime was watching her grandchildren play baseball and softball while enjoying the role of proud grandmother.     

Angela lived a life of Christian devotion and embodied Christ’s teaching of service to others.  She served as a teacher at Coronation, Holy Spirit and Most Precious Blood Catholic School for 36 years.  After her teaching career, Angela went on to serve a community of disabled adults at Claddagh House. For those that loved Angela, she will always be remembered for her selflessness, compassion, laughter and beautiful soul. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 7, 2025 from 4-7 PM at Latimore-Schiavone Funeral Home, Inc. 8434 N. Main Street, Angola, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Precious Blood Church on Thursday May 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Please assemble at the church.
