RECHIN - Richard R. “Rick”

Rick Rechin of Derby, NY, 71 entered into rest on August 2, 2025.  Beloved husband of LouAnn (Catalano) Rechin;  loving father of Erik (Leya Moser) and Bryan Rechin; son of the late Ronald and Patricia (Graff) Rechin; brother of Debbie (Gary) Yates, Karen (Mike) Rechin and Donna (Doug) Schaefer.  Survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, as well as numerous friends who will always remember his big smile and kind heart.  

Rick retired as a Union Plumber after 45 years, at which time he was able to further enjoy his passion for the outdoors. Whether it be hunting, fishing, boating, riding his Harley or catching the next best sunset; he loved nothing more than making memories with his wife & sons. Their favorite place was their “camp” in Stockton, NY. An avid Buffalo Bills fan, he looked forward to the season and cheering them on every week. His friends often share stories of his sharp pool shooting skills and the jokes he always told. 

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held Saturday August 9, 2025 from 2-5PM at the American Legion Post  7353 Erie Rd Derby NY. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Buffalo in Rick’s memory.  Arrangements by Latimore Schiavone Funeral Home, Inc.  Angola, NY.
