Beloved husband of Alice (Kinney) Achtziger for 70 years;
Father of George (Melinda Tatford) Achtziger, Jayne (Michael) Gannon and Diane (James) Winter;
Grandfather of Jennifer (Joe) DiFiglia, Gloria (Jerry) Deionno, Michael (Sarah) Gannon, Christopher (Alisha) Gannon, Cara Achtziger, Jesse (Margaret) Gannon, Hanna Winter and Sarah Gannon;
Great-grandfather of Zoe, Georgia, Isabella, Jack, Joshua, Cooper, Marlie, Piper and Braelyn;
Brother of Charlotte Comstock, Paul (Heather) Achtziger, Hank Oswald and the late William Achtziger;
Uncle to many nieces and nephews;
Son of the late William and Lena Achtziger.
To honor Herman's wishes, funeral services were held privately. Arrangements by LATIMORE-SCHIAVONE FUNERAL HOME INC. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Buffalo.
