FERRARO - Nancy A. (nee Lehning)

October 14, 2023 of Angola, NY. Beloved wife of Dennis J. Ferraro; Sister of Robert (Jamie), Donald (Monique) and Howard (Karen) Lehning. Survived by many Nieces and Nephews. Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Latimore Schiavone Funeral Home, Inc. Angola, NY. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in The First Congregational United Chruch of Christ 132 N. Main St., Angola. Please assemble at the church.  Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or Hospice of Buffalo in Nancy's Memory.

Nancy grew up in the family home that her father Allan built himself on Wisconsin Road in Derby NY.  She attended Lake Shore Central Schools and graduated from the Sr. High school in 1968. Upon graduation she attended The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where she received her Associates Degree. She worked in customer service for Evans Bank for thirty-four years and also served as a member of the Western New York Chapter of The Professional Business Woman's Association. Nancy developed the rare talent of balancing the most discombobulated checking account books, which greatly endeared her to her many customers.

She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and going on fishing and hunting trips with her husband of forty-nine years, Dennis. Nancy was an active member of The First Congregational United Church of Christ in the Village of Angola; and served on the church board. Her positive nature and sense of humor will certainly be missed by her Church family.  Nancy was easily bribed with strong coffee loaded with real cream, dark chocolate and Italian chocolate ball cookies with icing.
